Holiday Home near Sorrento, Amalfi and Pompeii

Gaetano’s apartment was exactly as advertised. Apartment was very clean and tidy and Gaetano was always ready to answer any questions we had. Gaetano went out of his way to make my wife a birthday card and presented it to her with a bottle of champagne, a very nice touch. His restaurant recommendations were spot on and everything is a nice walk away. The apartment is on a busy street but the windows keep it fairly quiet at night. We loved the location and the rooftop veranda so we could sit out watch the goings on and have a glass of wine. Thank you again Gaetano for a pleasurable stay.

Gaetano was very responsive via message and reached out proactively to give us clear instructions. Our flight was delayed into Naples so we arrived later than planned. Gaetano was there waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment has a beautiful terrace, one block from train station, and one block from a market. It was easy to navigate once we arrived. It was a little noisy outside the room while sleeping which is to be expected with the central location. Just bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper.

My husband and I spent 2 weeks at Gaetano's home and loved every minute of it. The location is perfect, close to the train station, so we were able to hop on a train to see Amalfi coast, Pompeii, Mount Vesuvius, Naples and so much more! Gaetano helped us in so many ways to make our stay a memorable one. Firstly, his apartment is very well equipped and very comfortable and clean. We loved having our own private terrace on the roof. But more importantly, Gaetano was the absolute best host. He had so many suggestions for us, and answered so many questions. He was always very quick to respond and point us in the right direction. Gaetano met us at his apartment for a very easy check in. Internet is super fast as well. Thank you Gaetano for making us feel at home in Castellammare! Grazie!

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par notre hôte qui a su êtrede bons conseils et être très réactif à nos demandes. L appartement est très bien situé si vous voulez vous éloigner de Naples et profiter d un environnement plus calme. La proximité de la gare est un atout précieux pour visiter la region Amalfitaine.

Ficamos 13 dias no apartamento de Gaetano, que fez o check in pessoalmente e ajudou a carregar nossas malas, pois o acesso ao apartamento é por escada. Havia refresco e bolinhos na nossa chegada. Fica a 5' da estação Via Nocera da linha Circumvesuviana e a 15' da linha FS Trainitalia. É no centro da cidade, mas é só fechar as janelas que não se ouve barulho. 2 supermercados e farmácia próximos. A cozinha é bem equipada, o colchão e travesseiros excelentes.A máquina de lavar é pequena, mas suficiente. Lava a roupa em 36' e tem um varal móvel no terraço, que, aliás, é um bônus agradável. Para quem sabe andar de trem na Itália essa é a base ideal em Campania. Conhecemos Capri/ Annacapri, Sorrento, Amalfi, Salerno, Paestum, Vietri sul Mare, Pompei, Ercolano, Vesuvio, fomos 4 vezes a Napoli e conhecemos Castellammare di Stabia. O Monte Faito é imperdível. E fomos 2 vezes caminhar no lungomare. Sabendo se programar, dá para conhecer bem Campania. Mas, no mínimo 10 dias. Ideal de 12 a 14 dias.

Very short stay but apartment was clean and exactly as described. It was perfect for our needs as very close to circumvesuviana train station and also the curreri bus stop for our journey to the airport. It had a lovely terrace and we were thankful for the refreshments provided.

Gaetano was a great host! He welcomed us into the apartment and explained everything very clearly, he was very friendly and welcoming, he even had some little treats waiting for us such as soda/chocolate/muffins etc that he bought ready for us to check in which I thought was very nice extra touch! The place was in a good location with train transportation only 2 mins walk from apartment which gets you into Sorrento and Naples in good time! Lots of good coffee shops, supermarkets, pharmacy and restaurants very close by! All round a wonderful stay and would highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the Amalfi coast and don’t want to stay right in the major cities, good value for money. Logement sympathique Et idéalement bien situé pour visiter les alentours comme la côte amalfitaine. Pompei, et prendre le bateau pour se rendre à ischia et Capri. De plus nous étions en moto nous avons pu la garer dans la cour ce qui était très appréciable Je recommande ce logement pour deux personnes.

Abbiamo adorato il nostro soggiorno qui. Era perfetto per me e mia figlia. Siamo abitanti della città, quindi ci è piaciuta molto la posizione. Possiamo apprezzare tutti i piccoli tocchi in più. I vicini sono stati gentili e ci hanno accolto quando sono andati e venuti. Ci siamo sentiti al sicuro e ci è piaciuta la vicinanza a Napoli e Sorrento. Grazie mille Gaetano per aver reso speciale la nostra vacanza.

We just loved our time here. It was perfect for my daughter and I. We are city dwellers so we loved the location. We can appreciate all of the little extra touches. The neighbors were kind and greeted us when coming and going. We felt safe and loved the proximity to Naples and Sorrento. Thanks so much Gaetano for making our Holiday special.

Apartment very well located, close to shops and public transport (circumvesuviana, airport shuttle). Very well equipped accommodation (everything was there), plus a large roof terrace, also equipped. Warm welcome from the host and his availability. Gaetano is a very attentive person, concerned about the comfort of his customers. On arrival, delicate attention, on the table awaited us a bottle of rosé wine, a bottle of sparkling water and a salad bowl filled with madeleines. Also worth mentioning is the excellent pizzeria right next to the entrance to the building and the friendliness of its owners.

Everything perfect. From the handover to the cleanliness and equipment of the kitchen. Shops in the immediate vicinity: Pescheria 10m, Pizzeria Napolitana 20m, Panetteria 80m, Supermercado 100m and bar for the café directly opposite. Parking garage 400m for €12/day. . Mic and Mic Stuke

The accommodation was perfect, it had everything we needed for our 8 night stay. Great location near via Nocera station, close to supermarkets, pharmacy and local food shops. The owner was super helpful, we kept in touch the whole time.

Fantastic warm welcome. Great location near train station for Naples, Vesuvius, Sorrento, ruins, cable car. Well insulated from noisy junction outside. Spotless. Great terrace for feeling the vibe of the city (a toned down version of central Naples).

The house is very close to the Via Nocera stop of the circumvesuviana, very convenient for going to Sorrento and the Pompeii excavations. In the house there are all the services and comforts, the terrace is very nice and well cared for. Gaetano, the owner, is available for advice upon arrival and during the stay and has left us a little thought upon arrival and departure. Advised!

We stayed at Stabia Holiday House for 2 weeks. Our overall rating is easily a 5 starts. The communication with Gaetano was very smooth and easy since the beginning. Although our flight and arrival was quite late it was no problem for gaetano, he greeted us at the place late in the evening. The home itself was very clean and well maintained. The gas stove was very useful to make our morning coffee and cook a couple of meals. The air conditioning sure helped us cope with the warm weather. The location is amazing, 25m from a 24 hour coffee and bakery cafe, 50m from a super market and around 100m from the train stop. Everything was so close and even though it was central the sound isolating is top-notch so no worries with the traffic sound. I also felt safe in the surroundings, even coming home late at night. The place also has a roof terrace that has a beautiful view of mount faito, we had lovely breakfasts there and you also had facilities to sun bathe. Gaetano was extremely helpful. He replied swiftly to all our questions on where to eat, good places and where to go for certain things. He also made sure that we had what we needed and would suggest us if anything we needed was missing. All in all, Gaetano and his wife were very helpful and welcoming during our stay.

Super friendly and helpful hosts. They had arranged fresh fruits and water/juice for our arrival. Lovely big roof terrace. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Close to shops and good grocery stores nearby.

Central and very clean and well-kept house. Large magnificent terrace. We easily reached Amalfi, Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii. We enjoyed visiting a destination every day. Very beautiful landscapes, beaches and sea. Very nice owners, I recommend this vacation rental. I also recommend the cable car that takes you to Mount Faito in 8 minutes: spectacular!

Beautiful house with terrace. We reached Sorrento and Amalfi easily. The house is central, clean and well organized. The terrace allowed us to enjoy magnificent moments. The owners are very nice and nice. I advise.

Very helpful and friendly hosts. The apartment is in excellent condition, clean, well furnished and central: attached to the Circumvesuviana station, close to supermarkets, but also well connected to visit the most touristic places. The best thing is the terrace located on the upper floor, with umbrella, deck chairs .. really well done, useful for relaxing or enjoying a nice lunch / dinner in peace and in the open air. Definitely we will be back.. I highly recommend this place!

The structure is a wedding favor located in a central area and complete with services. Inside it there was anything that could serve to satisfy our needs. Clean and welcoming. What makes it even more special is the huge and functional terrace. The owner was very nice and helpful. I highly recommend it!

Perfect holiday home, clean, comfortable and with a terrace. We had a great time visiting Capri, Amalfi, Sorrento. Both the port and the train station are close to the house, Gaetano was very kind. We will be back!

Beautiful holiday in Castellammare di Stabia in this brand new and spotless holiday home, with everything you need. Excellent location, shops, pizzerias all under the house (circumvesuviana train 100 meters). The super nice owner Gaetano advised us for the best. Do not miss the Stabiae ruins a few steps from the house. 10+

Modern furnished house, bright and clean. The owner was very kind and welcomed us and recommended the best for our short stay. The train stop is very convenient, about 100 meters from the house. Sorrento and Pompeii can be reached in a few minutes. Supermarkets and many shops just below the house. It has a terrace with plants, table, umbrella and beautiful beach beds. We will be back.
