How to get around by train
In the center of Castellammare di Stabia there is the Trenitalia station and several railway stations of the Circumvesuviana EAV.
The Circumvesuviana railway connects the eastern and southern area of the Naples metropolitan area. In Castellammare di Stabia there are various stations of this railway on the Naples-Pompeii ruins-Sorrento route.
A Circumvesuviana station (Via Nocera station) is only 150 meters from our holiday home. With the latter you can then reach Sorrento, Naples, Pompeii ruins, the archaeological park of Herculaneum and the beaches and bathing establishments of the city and the Sorrento coast in a few minutes.
How to move by sea
From the port of Castellammare di Stabia, ferries leave for Capri (all year round), for Amalfi and Positano (only in the summer months). NLG, GESCAB and ALILAURO offer sea connections with all the islands of the Gulf of Naples as well as with the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts.
The city port of Castellammare di Stabia is about 900 meters from our holiday home (10 minutes walk).
Faito cable car
The Faito cableway connects Castellammare di Stabia to Mount Faito in just 8 minutes. It operates in spring and summer and is located just 900 meters from our holiday home, in Unity of Italy Square.
How to get around by bus
To move within the city of Castellammare di Stabia there is the EAV bus line that connects the various city areas.
Also from Castellammare di Stabia the buses of the SITA line depart through which it is possible to reach the city of Gragnano (famous for the production of PGI pasta and the valley of the Mills) and the hamlet of Bomerano di Agerola from where there is the beginning of the famous Path of the Gods, one of the most coveted nature trails.
It is possible to reach the Naples Capodichino airport from Castellammare di Stabia using the Curreri bus lines. Furthermore, from the terminal of the Napoli Centrale station, you can reach the airports of Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino with the Fiumicino Express bus lines.
From our city it is possible to reach central Rome (Roma TIBURTINA) in about three hours with the Marozzi lines.
