Sorrento, famous all over the world, is about 13 km from Castellammare di Stabia. Easily reachable from our holiday home also by train, with Circumvesuviana, in about 20 minutes. You can visit the city, the characteristic historic center, the monuments, the churches and dive into the sea of Sorrento.
The town of Sorrento is located along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea, in the Gulf of Naples, and rises on the north-western side of the Sorrento peninsula, to which it gave its name. From the city of Naples, with respect to which it rises to the south-east, it is about 25 km as the crow flies.
